Introduction
Cerumen is the naturally occurring and normally secreted product of the external auditory canal (outer ear canal). Cerumen (wax) protects the skin in the ear canal. Ear Canal does not cause problems in most of the people but in some people Cerumen gets built up and blocks the canal. This is Cerumen impaction or wax blockage.
