MediAngles.com, the first e-super specialist medical consultation website in the country, plan to open a call centre to enable patients below poverty line to avail themselves of medical advice for treating ailments in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
We are in discussions with the governments of these two States currently in this regard, said director of MediAngels Dr. Debraj Shome. He was speaking at press meet in Chennai yesterday.
People can across the call centre by dialing a phone number and speaking to a doctor to get medical advice, he added. Speaking about MediAngles, he said the platform was for medical consultation, especially for rare and super specialised disease conditions though internet.
Individuals can avail themselves of the advice of over 300 super specialised doctors from over 22 countries. People can logon to their website and type their queries regarding their medical issues and doctors would reply within 72 hours, he pointed out.
