Introduction
Hurthle cell carcinoma of the thyroid is anunusual and relatively rare form of differentiated thyroid cancer. Hurthle cellcancer accounts for only about 3-10% of all differentiated thyroid cancer,therefore, few institutions have extensive experience with Hurthle neoplasia.According to the World Health Organization (WHO), these tumors are a variant offollicular thyroid carcinoma and considered as follicular carcinoma, oxyphilictype designated. | |
