Introduction

Krabbe disease is an inherited, often fataldisease that affects the central nervous system. The disease affects muscletone and movement and can cause a loss of eyesight, hearing difficulties whichcan lead to devastating effects on the individual. In most cases, Krabbedisease develops before age of 6 months in babies. I can also occur in childrenand adults.
