Classification
Many patients of Cotard Syndrome were evaluated and it seems to have three stages namely

Germination: At this stage the person shows depression, extreme worry, preoccupation with one’s illness and fear of medical condition.

Blooming: This stage is characterized by delusion of negation and is actually the stage when the patient manifests the full blown symptoms.

Chronic: In this stage patient shows severe depression and the delusion increases further.
