Introduction
A Colle`s Fracture is a fracture on the distal radius (long bone of forearm). The fracture is characterized by the dorsal (backward) displacement of the wrist and the hand. A Colle`s Fracture is also known as a “dinner fork”, or a “bayonet” deformity. These names are derived from the unusual shape of the resultant forearm. It is also known as a wrist fracture. | |
