Introduction
Bandemia refers to excessive cell volume of band cells released in the blood stream from bone marrow. It is an indicator of infection (or sepsis) or an inflammation. A band is an immature white blood cell. They are often released into the bloodstream from the bone marrow in their immature state in case of infection in the body. | |
