Description
Bronchiolitis is swelling and the accumulation of mucus in the smaller passages of air in the lungs (bronchioles), usually due to a viral infection.
It is inflammation of the bronchioles which are the smallest passages of air in the lungs. Primarily it is acute infection of the lower respiratory tract of the young. | |
