Introduction

More than being a disease or disorder, aging is one of such processes, that every individual has to go through at the latter stage of their lives. Aging is considered to be a universal phenomenon of declining youth, vigour, turgidity and tenacity of the body. With the turning of the calendar pages, the youthful compactness of a person and his body cells decrease and he gradually “ages”, or grows older. Aging is an essential part of the human existence that states that the growth of body cells and conversion of black hair to grey is a natural and important factor both in terms of biology and society.

Epidemiology:
Aging is a factor which does not exclude any sort of living creature in the planet. Be it the most prehistoric and rarest exo-skeletal arthropods found in the deepest trenches of the deepest corners of Pacific Ocean, to the baby born a few seconds ago, every living creature has to go through the phenomenon of degradation, growth, maturation and aging at the latter stage of the lifetime. However, other than the normal phenomena, aging can also occur out of imbalance in the body and malfunction of hormones.
