Tests and diagnosis
Diagnosis is easily established on clinical examination and endoscopic nasal examination (Rhinoscopy). However, CT scan of paranasal sinuses is essential to exclude the bony erosion and expansion suggestive of neoplasm and to plan the surgery. Also, histopathological examination may be needed to exclude malignancy underneath the polyp. | |
