MediAngels Wins Intel DST Technology Innovation Challenge 2012

We are delighted to let you know that MediAngels, the World’s First Online Hospital, has been declared the winner of the Intel DST Technology Innovation Challenge 2012. The grand finale of the event was conducted at Bangalore, India on 9th August 2012. Over 7000 companies from the APAC region were evaluated in this extremely competitive competition to find the most innovative start-up company in the APAC region.

MediAngels was appreciated both in terms of technology interfaces and innovation as well as the depth and breadth of medical services, which were thought to be unparalleled in the world thus far. The contest involved initial screening over a month, semi-final presentations and a final presentation involving the top six teams from the region.

This prestigious competition is supported by APIN, the Asia Pacific Incubation Network, a network of business incubators across Asia Pacific region, and is sponsored by the Intel Corporation and the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India.
