Introduction
Burkitt lymphoma (BL) is a rare type of B-cell lymphoma. It affects both children and young adults. It's more common in men than in women.

Epidemiology:
Burkitt's lymphoma was found among children in parts of Africa, but also occurs in the U.S. African type of Burkitt lymphoma is closely associated with Epstein-Barr virus the most common cause of infectious mononucleosis.
