Introduction
Klinefelter syndrome is a disorder of sexual development associated with advanced maternal age and resulting into 47, XXY karyotype due to non-disjunction during meiotic (40% during spermatogenesis, 60% during oogenesis) or mitotic division. It may also present with variants such as 46, XY/47, XXY and occurs in 1 in 1000 males. | |
