ACUTE POST HEMORRHAGIC ANEMIA

Acute blood loss anemia

Introduction

As the name itself suggests, the disease or the condition is born out of loss of blood. Anemia is the condition, where the body is short of hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is one of the most important elements of the blood. It makes sure that the oxygen is transferred to all of the organs of the body, and carbon dioxide is taken to the lungs from all of the organs. At times, due to accidents or any other cause, bleeding occurs in the human body and a large amount of blood is lost and along with that hemoglobin is lost too. The condition, hence aroused, is called acute post hemorrhagic anemia.

Epidemiology:
No specific pattern has been designed as far as the epidemiology of acute post hemorrhagic anemia is concerned. The reason is that there are a variety of reasons which can cause the condition, and all of them are pretty random. But one thing that has been noticed is that women, all over the world, are more prone to the condition when compared to the men.
